Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Limited (KSITIL) is the apex company formed under this Government of Kerala IT Policy for pioneering the development of IT/ITES Special Economic Zones (SEZs), IT Townships and IT Parks in the State of Kerala. The registered office is at Park Centre, Technopark Campus, Trivandrum.
The Kerala Government anticipates the expansion of the IT industry that benefits all the districts of Kerala rather than confining to some cities as in other states. For the development of the IT sector, a hub and spoke model has been planned with Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode acting as hubs and the rest of the districts acting as its spokes. Technopark, Infopark and Cyberpark at these hubs will support the KSITL for the development of the districts falling under each hub.
KSITIL has been mandated by the Kerala Government to be the vehicle for all IT infrastructure developments in the State in a Private Public Participation (PPP) model. KSITIL also enjoys great advantages which includes preferential allocation of land for projects by Government and obtaining necessary clearances from Government.
At present, KSITIL has a large number of ongoing IT SEZ and IT Park projects and a land bank of about 400 acres is already in possession by the Company. The ongoing IT Park Projects are IT Park Kollam, IT Park Cherthala, IT Park Koratty, IT Park Kozhikode, IT Park Kannur and IT Park Kasaragod
