Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT) that was established in 1988, is an organization for advancement of research, development and training in imaging technology. It was founded by Shri P. Govinda Pillai. C-DIT occupies an area of 3 acre and is located in the Chithranjali Hills, beside the Kerala State Film Development Corporation Campus, in Thiruvananthapuram district. There is a city office in Thiruvananthapuram and a Regional Centre in Kayamkulam.

C-DIT is unique as it has a combination of human resources, talented and creative people co-existing with technological work force. They have taken up numerous projects of the state Government and have completed them successfully. The chairman of C-DIT is the Chief Minister of Kerala. The mission of this organization is to become a leading service provider and product innovator in information technology systems.

C-DIT has taken up various projects such as e-governance, imaging technology, hologram production, software development and various other projects. The authorised content provider for the Government of India portal is C-DIT. They are also responsible for creating and maintaining the websites of all the Ministers of Kerala. C-DIT has also successfully done various projects for clients in Kerala. These projects include installation of Digital Imaging Printing System in the sub-registrar offices in Kerala state, redesigning the website of our Chief Minister, e-gazette etc.
